As much as I loved and honored the late Pope John Paul II, his lack of forcefullness with Catholic politicians and their the abortion stances went largely unreported. Now I don’t know if this sudden militancy by the US Catholic hierarchy is a result of our current pontif’s communication but it is long overdue and greatly welcomed.
