All I know is she killed the chosen one. I sure hope see comes to Florida. The more the media attacks, the more the are feeling the blow back. You think in these times , media want to lose viewers, readers or ad money? Hell they are just above a Government bailout themselves.

Regardless of their political leanings, they lean more to money. When their money supply is threatened, they listen.
It was the images,the tableaux of Palin and her entire family, including pregnant daughter, military son, and Down syndrome infant that probably enraged the Dems more than anything. It was entirely natural and normal for them to all appear AS THEY ARE, with no apologies. Once more, the Leftist “thunder” is stolen, and effortlessly. The Palin’s mere presence was felt to be “rubbing their noses in it”,
“it” being the Left’s clumsy attempt at doing the same thing, which they can only do by UNDERMINING reality with a careful setting-up and stage-managing-—remember the Obamites getting rid of those Muslim women in headscarves sitting right behind the podium, in camera view, at a rally a few months ago,asking them to sit elsewhere? So you see what images they REALLY want to create, and stage-manage——not real ones but deceptively artificial ones. Palin has injected reality into this political scene, and you just can’t beat reality.
Moreover,the one thing we who are the true soul of the conservative movement must begin to think about is what do we do starting Wednesday Nov 5. We must build a consensus first here on Free Republic that DEFUNDING THE LEFT is to be the number 1 domestic priority of the Mack/Palin administration. We have been trying to do that since Nixon...and always failed because of other priorities. And look where we are. The Left is funded by the US TAxpayer for everything that has been corroding our culture and killing our freedom. It isn't brain surgery. Kill the federal funding and THE LEFT DIES !!

Absolutely correct. The Gingrich house tried hard, and almost eliminated the Federal gas tax in 1995. It would have been a huge blow to the left and for federalism. Most people do not know how much Federal government is forced on the states for them to get gas tax dollars, or how many gas tax dollars are funded into urban centers for wasteful “mass transit” projects.
Don't forget the South. They will be with McCain on this. The midwest is the swing country. I don't include California as part of the West anymore. It has been overrun by Easterners and Illegal immigrants.
For several years, I have said that the first Woman president will be a Republican, as will the first Black president.
