I get the impression he’s acting like he barely missed the war. The Viet Nam war ended when he was 10 years old!
It’s not like “gee, i almost slid in there and got to fight for my country!”

Oh hell, he wouldn't make it the first day at bootcamp. Soon as he steps off that bus, the Drills will turn him into a lump of jelly. What a freakin metrosexual.

Hillary wanted to be in the Marines.
She also wanted to join NASA.

Sorry, but this rates right up with Hillary claiming she wanted to join the Marines. In a pigs eye, she did!Politicians of all stripes exaggerate, select, distort, and puff themselves up, and always have. The unique price we paid for the Clinton regime was that this kind of frank shameless lying became institutionalized in 'rat politics. Make up any damn thing that you think will sell, just make sure it isn't fact-checkable. Stick with old stories where all possible witnesses are dead or unidentifiable; hide as much of your paper trail as you can, ahead of time, just to be on the safe side; report vaporous nonsense about 'intentions,' which no one can see, as if it were the equivalent of action. Count on the NEA to keep the boobs stupid and hopefully they will never wake up to what you're doing.

To: stylin19a
Oh he probably "once considered it" but after a few seconds of anxiety and fear the notion passed, never to be thought of again.
Hardly worth reporting such a fleeting, idle thought, no doubt quickly banished.
To: LibLieSlayer
He actually said that? Are you serious?

Outside an abortion clinic, wouldn't a person be charged with a crime for not rendering aid to a living baby?I don't think so, unless it was your own. But there would be no doubt as to what kind of monster would fail to do so.
Joining what military? America's? Implausible. For 20 years he belonged to a church that preached that members’ primary loyalty was to Africa.

LMAO! I heard he met with the same recruiter that HRC talked to... Good grief! They make things up as they go along. What next? Astronaut? Doctor? Scientist? Olympic athlete?

Shades of Hillary trying to join the Marines. Sure reminds me of that whopper.
To: Mr Inviso
He didn’t join the military and there is nothing more he can say.
To: Krankor
Good point. My $$ is on NO. Any mention of the military in a positive light would no doubt horrify his readers.

Why, life begins when you receive your first copy of Das Kapital. After Sarahcudda's barbs, that is the best one I've heard all week!

That is a rather honest and transparent comment. I applaud you for making it. Your discourse is a refreshing sight. Thank you.

Du-uuh
It’s just too obvious.
We must think this through. We must analyze. Consider all the possible answers. Take a poll. Consider the changing times. Project the future. Count the votes. Then answer.
“It’s above my pay grade.”
and what would that be?
ZerObama?
I’m not sure if I am an atheist or an agnostic. But I am sure that life begins at conception.
Individual life...a new person.
The origin of “Life” in the broader sense of all living creatures is harder to determine....but that’s theology, not biology.
