Republican presidential candidate, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., his wife Cindy, center, and his vice presidential running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, wave to supporters from the top step of McCain's campaign plane after an airport campaign rally Saturday afternoon, Sept. 6, 2008 in Colorado Springs, Colo.

All of these people (there and everywhere else that they go) will go back to their relatives, friends, neighbors, and spread the enthusiasm over this ticket, and the ‘MO will keep going.
To: Libloather
I think many Republicans said: you know what? We nominated the wrong guy atop the ticket. It should have been THAT woman!" Judging from all the reaction, they should have gone ahead and done it.

Careful gentleman, let us not make her a superstar, that is the game the media machine wants us to play. Sarah is enjoying this support because she is emblematic of the millions of strong Republican women who are the heart of the party, and the soul of this Nation. These women are the stars. I’ll bet you know some Baracudas of your own.

No, you’re wrong.
Sarah wasn’t running for president and she wouldn’t have gotten the nomination if she had been.
People realize now that McCain was the right guy for the nomination because he had the courage and maverick streak to select Sarah, and they compliment each other as no-nonsense reformers.
Mitt Romney wouldn’t have picked Sarah Palin, neither would have Fred Thompson or Mike Huckabee.
John McCain is our guy, in part because Sarah Palin is his gal.

Careful gentleman, let us not make her a superstar Your correct. Somehow making her out as a rock star or super star makes her superficial. It undermines her message which is all about integrity and reform.

"It should have been THAT woman!" I believe it is gonna work out just fine. She will do well and McCain's understudy and energy czar. The she will be up for 8 more years after McCain along with someone like Gov Jindal.
We can really thank McCain for this AND the judges this will reap.
Is it any wonder the leftists are in such hysterics about this?

You are so right on that point! Speaking for myself and many gals that I know(Yes, we're okay saying that to each other)We never thought we would see a conservative woman like her run. There ARE millions of Sara's across this great land and I think we're still in shock that FINALLY we have a voice.
