if Sarah is willing to sacrafice her family so we can avoid Obama - fine. As for us, we don’t want the role of Mr. Mom for our daughter when she marries.

So, you're willing to accept Sarah's sacrifice, for your benefit, but unwilling for your own daughter to do the same for others? BTW, I hate to be the one to break it to ya, but when your daughter is grown, and she marries, you no longer have a choice in her life as it will be her own. I only hope she is more selfless than you you seem to be.

Sarah Palin is a fine role model for men and women, particularly today’s younger females re her fierce prolife stance. She is proof that one can be a woman of faith and succeed, and use that success to make a positive difference in the world.

I would like to add that there was a certain lady who led a country, and came to visit and confer with King Solomon (The Queen of Sheba). She was known as one of the wisest women of her time! Oh yeah, there was another one, Lydia, the lady that sold purple dye (or cloth). She was a community leader mentioned in the NT, who became a Christian, and welcomed the Christian missionaries. I would say that these ladies were not only traditional women, but also in non-tradional roles or positions!

Oops, that is “traditional” roles or positions in the last sentence!

Good headline writing is an art, and whoever wrote this one is an artist.

I would have preferred "People's Palin Passion Perplexes Pundits."

She’s saying what most white males won’t say. She’s getting away with it because of her .........

"Won't"? Nope: mustn't. My wife takes advantage of the same dynamic and it derives directly from misdirected feminism, the kind that Sarah guerillistically undermines by being a pro-life feminist (as is my wife). Amusingly, it's the same dynamic that is keeping either Obama or Biden from coming up with anything remotely effective in countering her punches: they don't want to be seen hitting a girl (which is, you've got to admit, self-imposed sexism right there). So they inhibit themselves and seen the rag-hags outs to speak for them. How in the world Hillary or Eleanor are supposed to compete with Sarah is beyond me, especially when they're going to come across not as dowagers, as is their intent, but as crones cackling and stirring their pot of potions.

Note something else: once Sarah says it, many men are freed to say it, because then they're only quoting her. Her diction is letter-perfect and once said, these things will neither go away nor be twisted without proving the twister to be a bigot. Men have got to love this new situation.

I know I do.

Conservatives must reclaim a working majority in Congress, a task that is up to us to accomplish.

I am incredibly sorry to say that that's not going to happen soon.
