This does not look good. The next U.S. president may have to prosecute the war inside Pakistan's tribal area.

Was there a ‘good’ outcome?
If your theory is correct, this may help Obama, since he’s already committed to invading Pakistan.

Is he the one also known as “Mr 10 per cent” for his corruption?

And how many people with a working brain believe this ? .... this is empty rhetoric from Obama to look tuff on the WOT.... don't buy it, and don't believe it for a New York minute.

Yes. At one point, some Pakistani claimed that he is actually Mr. 15%, outdoing Madame Ten(Mm. 10%,) the wife of former Indonesian President Suharto.

I think you are right. I suspect folks do not really believe it.

With Mushie gone, I wonder if civil war will rear its head there. He was what was keeping that nation-state together.

No, it is the Pakistani army which has held the country together(or rather most of it) in the last 60 years. Zardari being president is not going to change that and that’s why the rest of the world don’t mind Musharraf leaving.

Confronting pakistan may not be such a bad idea.We have been wasting billions of dollars on that islamic country and have got little in return. It’s abt. time somebody confronted pakistan . This is one issue where obama is right and MCCain is wrong.

I’ve come to the conclusion that Zardari had a hand in his wife’s assasination. The security holes and cui bono.
Bhutto’s security chief was also killed a month after she was.
In a normal homicide investigation of a spouse, suspicion first falls on the surviving spouse.
But he’s our boy now, and I’m sure we had a hand in armtwisting the Swiss to release 60 Million USD of frozen funds belonging to the Bhuttos.
Wonder how long he lasts.

So very Muslim of him if that’s the case.Benazir is thought to have had a hand in bumping of at least 2 of her brothers, so it’s in the family. If the army or the Slammies dont get him, his son or any oher member of the Bhutto clan will.

Obama is right if you look at it in theory. The fact is Pakistan is pretty close to breaking point. No point is pushing America’s hand. Then there is the question of how China will react if it sees the Yanks threatening their oldest pal.
Bush had a chance to go after the Pakis after Sept.11 and he didn’t take it.The Iraq war pretty much closed that window.

One thing that Obama forgets.... another hostile country with nuclear weapons makes it very dangerous and difficult to deal with....
The DEMS/MSM cry foul when we want to deal with Iran who maybe on the verge of having nukes.. but, we want to deal with Iran before they get nukes....
The left tells us that it will turn into WWIII ... maybe so, maybe not. but, if we were to go after Pakistan... you can be assured that it would definitely turn into WWIII with China and maybe Russia joining Pakistan's side, and maybe India joining us.....
With Pakistan having nukes just makes it a higher risk to deal with..... we can not just go in and invade Pakistan like Obama wants us to...
To: Prophet in the wilderness
If we go after pakistan, neither russia nor china will join the war.Russia is hardly pakistan’s friend and chinese military are no match for ours and the chinese know this.So it surely won’t turn into WW3.As far as pak’s nuke’s are concerned, they are kept in two or threee sites and they could be easily taken out.Anyway, nobody is talking abt. war with pakistan....all that we need to do is put pressure on them to dismantle their ISI and link the sale to weapons to progress made in WOT.In other words , unless they put an end to croos border talib raids, we shouldn’t send them any more weapons

I am curious of your opinion of this individual G8. I don’t know enough about the succession of the Bhutto family.
