Note this comment on the talk page:

“Potential” POV fork my eye!

If this is a potential POV fork, I'm a bowl of petunias! It isn't a potential fork, it is a fork, pure and simple.

As far as I can see, this page has only been created as a means to get around the protection on the main page about Palin.

Just as soon as it is unprotected, it's going up for AfD.

Yep, I agree, from reading it--that appears obvious.

No need to genuflect before me. I strive to know what I’m talking about, and to accomplish that, I severly narrow the scope of what I talk about.

"...which is nonsensical when you consider that domestically we have the supplies ready to go.’”

That part is rather nonsensical in and of itself. It is true that we have loads of oil, gas and coal in the ground but it isn't exactly "ready to go."

That is just Gov. Palin's (and all Drill Here Drill Now folks) point. First the gigantic lard-butted Federal bureaucracy, further weighed down by the constipation of Democrat politics, has to be moved aside.

Having said that; it is certainly ridiculous to think that there is no connection between energy supplies and war.

The Democrat "No Domestic Energy Policy!"

All of that puts the U.S. in a position that war for oil or
complete economic collapse will be our only choices.
You can't frustrate every source of domestic energy
without consequences. Our enemies will blackmail us
to the extent that we are vulnerable to blackmail.

The Democrats are leading us into a real war for oil.
A war we won't have the energy to fight.

Sorry. I should have read through the thread before replying. I didn't realize the quote was Sarah Palin's and not the author's. You did do a good job of unraveling a purposely muddled subject with your post #16.

Conflicts do revolve around the issue of essential commodities and have since man first started making war. But the left likes to reduce things to an overly-simplistic level in order to further their agenda. Which is a self-serving agenda that rests on false premises. They avoid answering who starts these conflicts and who it is that uses basic commodities to manipulate things to a selfish end.

They also avoid even more fundamental questions like what motivations underlie our enemies actions vs our motivations. The left wants to say it is oil but oil is only a lever to manipulate things not the bottom line. The real motivator is control. Our enemies want control of life and liberty by the state while we seek to protect an individual's control over life and liberty.

At the level of most basic principles the left shares the same basic view our enemies do. Tyranny is preferable to freedom. They use a lot of sophistry to deny that but it is essentially true.

No experience at all. Sorry.

Thanks for the ping, though. I like to keep up on stuff like that.

We need to setup a group of people to keep the information on the net cleaned up so voters that are attempting to inform themselves don’t get bad information.

Wikipedia is a good place to start:
Wikipedia like it or not people use it and we need to keep it clean.

I am asking you Jim, Jeff and Doug because you guys know so many people here I was hoping you could point me in the right direction on how to do this.

Dave I was told on another thread that you have dealt with Wiki staff before.

Moderator because I think we need this under activism. what would it take to get this set up under activism? I put my first post on this under activism and it was removed without a word which was very annoying.

This is an every day attack (here is a list of changes just in Palin’s political posititons)

Here is a list of categories just for Palin that are under everyday attacks

Besides the constant attacks i think the wording could be less condescending then it is right now.

Steve:

It might make sense to change the title of this thread to include Sarah Palin’s Wikipedia Page, as the other thread has.
