I wonder, exactly, how he recognized that they were "sportsmen" - were they carrying guns? Not likely... were they wearing orange vests (maybe they were Hillary supporters... PUMA and all that)? Did they have 'coon-skin caps? (can I say " 'coon-skin"?) Does he just "know them on sight"? Hard to recognize a sportsman... or a sportswoman... Maybe they just looked "clingy" (or "sporty", my wife says...)

Obama trotted out his standard policy stance, that he had a deep respect for the "traditions of gun ownership" but favored measures in big cities to keep guns out of the hands of "gang bangers and drug dealers" in big cities "who already have them and are shooting people."

His favored measures? Universal gun confiscation.
