Actually, they have Biden on the ticket to appear to give gravitas to the foreign policy side of the DNC choice. In reality Biden’s record on foreign policy positions is a liability if examined. The placement of Biden on the ticket is an open admission the media refuses to point to that Obama is a zero.

Joe Paterno is an institution. Few if any universities would pressure a faculty member to contribute to a political campaign, and I can't see Penn State putting pressure on someone of Paterno's stature.

Early in the year, even though there was very little difference in Barack & Hillary over policy (other than Barack being more likely to screw up foreign policy), he seemed to be a nicer person than Hillary, and possibly capable of an honest government, whereas Hillary was deeply involved in many of the Clinton scandals. A new Clinton administration could be expected to be just as corrupt as the first one. Back in early February, when the donation was made, very little was known about Barack's radical ties or his connection to Chicago sleaze.

There was a column in The Wall Street Journal on Thursday (on the page before the main editorial page) about how Biden has been on the wrong side of just about every foreign policy issue of the last several decades.

Just as media whoredom for the DNC has asiduously avoided vetting Barry Soetoro Obama, they will will avoid exposing the history of Joe Biden because he was in fact the ‘cheneyesque’ gravitas addition to the ticket meant to shore up Barry’s complete and utter lack of foreign policy experience. The shadow candidate continues to be protected by media whoredom. The fifth column is working hard at being absolutely biased, and you know it’s true because Barry has been sent out by Axelrod to whine about media baised against him. The average voter and all democrat voters are unable to reason it out that misdirection and projection are the mainstay of democrat methodology. Lying is what the demcorat party lives by.

Found it--the author is Peter Wehner and the title is "Biden was Wrong on the Cold War."

If you type "biden" and "cold war" into Google it should be the first match that comes up. The URL is:

Thank you very much. I think I’ll put that one up at FR for a thread.

I've done a piece on Mister Wehner's Oped at my blogsite. I don't think it would be FR thread worthy based upon the moderators' handling of previous essays I've offered.

I just watched the CO Spring Raly with McCain/ Palin before I watched this clip. Obama’s listeners are not fired up like McCain’s.
