Staying busy as well but not as busy as you. Got some fishing in today with poor results and expecting Hurricane Hanna to send some rain our way hopefully. It was nice to see Obama supports drilling in the Bakken. Wasn’t that nice of him? LOL

With the way you speak, I'd assume you must be a cop who has to hide behind a badge to prove something, and closes ranks with other cops who do the same.

I don't need a badge to make me a man, and I have absolutely no respect for someone who does, OR defends those who do.

In fact I think of cops who hide behind their badge as a shield of protection as cowards who deserve to be spit upon.

There are witness to this FACT and the boy himself admitted he wanted it done....doesn't relieve the trooper of using official state property in an illegal manner.

Makes it even more reprehensible that an officer of the law would place a child of limited mental capabilities into very real danger of bodily harm. What if said kid wanted to play with his service revolver and said trooper allowed it. Would that be o.k. in your eyes too?

Saras daddy cut the moose up in his garage and the whole family (yup, that would be Sara as well) helped to eat the moose.

Doesn't relieve the responsibility of said Trooper of breaking law. Did the family know at the time said was killed out of season.

You have reinforced the opinion I have of so many cops (not all, fortunately). That cops view themselves above the rest of us. That somehow the rest of us should adore them and pay omage to them.

I don't care how many bad guys a cop has put away, or how many years he did it. If he beats his wife, or abuses his position, or defends his brothers for doing it, because he is brother, he is as much a POS as the ones he puts away.

Maybe you personally don't do that. But the fact that you attacked the person and not the statement, enforces that image.

Damn ASOC, somebody has obviously read the facts about the “taser” incident. Better watch out, FR will out you as an obvious democratic operative for presenting officer Wooten as less than demonic. BTW he set the taser at the lowest setting whatever that is. Not very smart or responsible but not the act of an evil tyrant that he has has been portrayed as. I have high regard for AK troopers, we need every one of them. This guy didn’t deserve the abuse he has gotten from the Palin and Heath family for divorcing Molly.

But very little of the sara saga has been reported in full - folks have to recognize (at some point) there really are two sides to every story. Fine I'm chilled/ And the crack about the gun, the trooper TASERED a child and according to you a “slow” one. He showed very poor judgment. And if he would taser a child just because the child wanted to be tazered, then it isn't far fetched that he would allow a “slow” child to handle and possibly shoot his service revolver.

And I am going by the ruling of the Col. Julia Grimes who said trooper Wooten " showed serious and concentrated pattern of unacceptable and at times illegal behavior", Grimes suspended Wooten for ten days later reduced to five.

All this is not speculation but actual legal investigation and rulings
