Policemen surprised workers who were five meters underground digging a tunnel to the United States while they were searching a house in the border city of Mexicali, Mexican police said. More of "God's children" at work.
The 140-meter-long (150-yard), 1.3-meter-wide and five-meter-deep tunnel included an electric rail for container transport, ventilation and lights as well as air-conditioning, said Juan Miguel Guillen, director of police in northern Baja California state.
I wonder what else can be transported through that tunnel and then along the drug cartels' logistics and distribution networks, which run nationwide...maybe some terrorists and a WMD, at the right price?
But that's okay, because we're still winning in Iraq, even if terrorists waltz right in and blow us to smithereens in our own homes! /sarc
Wake up and smell the hypocrisy of both RINOs and the Rats, including Juan...because their perfidy stinks.

Don’t they realize what that air conditioning is doing to our OZONE?!!
To: decimon
Simply amazing!
After we put up an electrified double fence along the border, we can use ground sensing equipment to detect tunnels.
Hopefully that should at least cut down on much of the smuggling.

When the energy bills came in didn’t the power company wonder about the enormous usage coming from a single home?

This gives me an idea.
Lets unionize the drug runners.
Air conditioned workplace, mandatory breaks, company healthcare,....they will be bankrupt within a year.
This will shut them down once and for all.

When they find them, they need to insert motion detectors, wait until they are occupied with drug runners, and blow them up!

Naaaa. It was the hugh, growing mountain of dirt in the backyard that gave a suspicious look to the place.

Thumper trucks used for finding oil come to mind. They could be used to identify tunnel locations and collapse them.

Actually this was pretty smart in that the air conditioning reduces the underground dampness, and of course makes for more comfortable ,productive workers.Plus who wants musty drugs?
Disposing of the dirt has got to be the biggestproblem.

They’d better be checking some employees at the electric company.

Wonder if the diggers were illegals from North Korea?
NK exports its underground expertise all over the world.
