"Conservatives are now questioning her affiliation with an extreme breakaway political party, causing deep rifts in the Republican ticket. The seemingly untouchable goddess of the right is now under scrutiny".

I'm not questioning it at all. Most conservatives could probably understand WHY they'd want to do it.

I question the WISDOM of doing it as a few years after they declared independence they would probably be speaking Russian in the Oblast of Alyeska.

Dear Fellow FRs:

I went to Office Depot today...They had a sale on DVDs...You know stuff that no one wants...2 for 1?

In this discount bin was John McCain’s life story.. Faith of My Father...I bought it...

I watched this tonight and thought...

My God, we do not know this man. We have no clue...yet we all need to learn from him.

Go to Office Deport tomorrow and buy the DVD... 9 dollars for two...Watch it and pass it on....

I’m sick to death at the small people still on this forum who continue to bad mouth McCain...I’ve come around... He’s a great American and we should be all proud that he is our candidate...

I have 60 days to promote this man...I’m tired of hearing the negatives from the bloggers here....You know who they are...

Let’s work to get our ticket elected...

So I take it, some idiot, some where, will use this to suggest that Palin is a member?

Alaska haas a prominent third party, the Alaskan Independence Party, that I believe has won some races in the state. So Palin is used to a multiparty system.

She’s right about the importance of third parties. Perhaps we coudl get an Electoral Non-Discriminaton Act that says that whatever standards you use in terms of nominations and ballot access for the major parties, you cannot make more difficult standards for third parties. it still leaves intact that the states run elections, but it insists that they must be run on an even playing field.

AmericanInTokyo:

Are you aware that the DailyKOS nuts are trying to accuse Palin of being a member?

I took reading classes since kindergarten. I put these skills to use, accumulated over the years, by reading the website of said Third Party. It’s easy. YOU CAN TOO!! ;-)

I doubt she is a member, I am sure she was a former member. I do hear that she was for Pat Buchanan, so she is solidly conservative, that is for sure. I wonder what those Freepers who constantly bashed ol Pat would say to that? They always called those of us who liked him as “nuts” and “fringe”. Do they think the good Governor is also a “nut” and is “fringe”?

I personally believe Barr, Nader and Baldwin should be in the debates this Fall if they raise to a certain reasonable percentage in polls and / or they succeed in ballot qualification in a certain number of states. A standard needs to be decided and people need to have more choices. People want more choices.

From their own website:

"The continual growth of membership of the Alaskan Independence Party has created one of the largest third parties in the United states. We used to be the largest, so we are trying harder to regain that position. Join us as we lead Alaska to the prosperity and freedom that Alaskans expect, deserve and should enjoy. The AIP is Proud to support Bob Bird for the Senate of the United States. For more information on Mr. Bird, please visit his web site. We have also endorsed the Presidential candidacy of the Constitution Party, Charles Baldwin. The Alaskan Independence Party can be summed up in just two words: ALASKA FIRST! Until we as Alaskans receive our Ultimate Goal, the AIP will continue to strive to make Alaska a better place to live with less government interference in our everyday lives."

Next question?

Nice! Then perhaps you could enlighten this enfeebled nitwit as to whether and when Palin, as you posted, "Mrs. Palin urged them, and ultimately officially endorsed and affiliated with conservative CHUCK BALDWIN (on the national ticket for Constitution Party) for President of the United States in 2008.

BECAUSE I DON'T SEE IT.

Moulitsas (DailyKOS) says he doesn't know who the anonymous ArcXIX is -- his contributors decide whether to identify themselves -- but that his site also disclosed that Palin was once a member of the Alaskan Independence Party, which has pushed for a vote on seceding from the United States. That was confirmed Monday by ABC News.

Your post flatly states that she supports the current candidate. Are you aware that this is exactly the kind of smear DailyKOS loves to generate?

Go back to grammar school and diagram sentences you idiot.

Subject. Verb. Object. Read it again. THE WHOLE SENTENCE. Don't waste my time.

I said she welcomed and supported a party that went on to endorse Mr. Baldwin. You can't read plain English can you. You can also stop splitting my sentences midstream and taking things out of context while you are at it.

How dishonest.

I smell a Republibot.

Sheesh. You are worse than Biden.

I'll take you up on the grammar challenge and mop the floor with you.

Here is your phrase with no omissions:

as Mrs. Palin urged them, and ultimately officially endorsed and affiliated with conservative CHUCK BALDWIN (on the national ticket for Constitution Party) for President of the United States in 2008.

What was it you left out?

What was it you left out?

The only thing that was "left out" was that which I wrote which you snipped out.

Really, I have no more time to engage in his juvenile discussion based on your indulging in arguments based on non-sentences, bits of sentences, butchered sentences, i.e. sentences de-contextualized by conveniently removing the subject of the sentence. Play those grammar games based in seething, blind RINOism with someone else. Have a nice evening.

So ...I guess it’s OK with you if I conclude that you don’t give a damn about any potential harm you’re doing here.

I guess the video lied, correct? That was sure a dead ringer for Governor Palin. Excellent job, that impressionist.
