Hello FRiend, I share your optimistic viewpoint. I am no “whistling past the graveyard”, uninformed, don’t worry , be happy type.

I am quite a realist and consider myself to be analytical. I spent last night, breaking down methodology of recent polls, gathering Soetoro information & writing emails to 2 friends who are lawyers. Not to metion, I asked Mark Levin at the Landmark Legal Foundation for his opinion according to Fed. Law.
With and all things they are bringing up, I constantly think...are they serious??

Not sure most will agree with me but the events coming up all seem to in some way put Obama vs. Soetoro.
From their first reply until this evening, there has been absoltely no balance in coverage.

Issue #1-Experience - I spit coffee on my monitor when I read this was their first reply.

Issue #3 - Bristol’s Pregnancy - In this instance, it is clear cut. Standing up for an issue and showing that your family lives by those values. It has happened and was addressed as a family and she chose life over death, exercising her “choice”.
They say it personal in the Dems case but Campbell Brown scoffed at such a notion tonight.

Issue #6-The State Trooper Scandal - Sometimes we all get a bad apple in the family through marriage. The Dems are defending a wife beater and child abuser...they want to go there?...Please!

-Trooper cited by Superiors for drinking on the job while in Patrol car. Witnesses corroborate - Reprimanded
-Trooper caught Snow-Mobiling on disability leave - Reprimanded
-Trooper Threatened to Kill Father of both the Gov. and her Sister if Lawyers were called-Reprimanded
-Trooper abused the sister of the Governor - Cited as grounds for divorce.
-Caught killing a Bull Moose when he didn’t have a license for that season-Fined

Firstly, I am serious about what follows. Palin’s Husband having a DUI is very troublesome; that said, he is partially Native American-stay with me-and as such may have a prediliction for the problems associated with alcohol abuse. Secondly, my bona fides: my teacher Dad and social worker Mom had Navajos and Hopis (racially that is like WWII Japanese and Chinese nationals under the same roof) stay with us each Summer when I was a kid and now I live two miles from a reservation and volunteer on my days off with at risk youth from the res. OK. Barry wants me to know, but I can not bring it up, that he is black, with all the associated misery index and post reconstruction guilt. I would never support any racially-motivaterd cry-in campaign, yet Barry really should not let his sycophants in the pres attack Palin’s husband over the DUI. One could sympathetically argue that the only minority with a real complaint in this presidential race is the Native American and picking on him for a DUI is akin to making a crack about Barry having a BABY MOMMA (oh wait, his shrill wife already did that) or listening to gansta rap (oh wait, he outed himself and his IPOD on that one) as a racial stereotype. Well, alcoholism is the Devil's mistress and we almost all know someone suffering under this disease—I am just saying that a Native American with an alcohol issue is a much different issue that a rich kid in New England coming home from a frat party. I just hope that our side can defend and attack on this issue in appropriate measure.

Todd is 1/8 Yup’ik, he isn’t a native American. He is not an alcoholic. He doesn’t have a problem with “firewater” as far as I have ever heard. Let’s not start THAT rumor!
