perhaps even Director of National Intelligence.”
Well, he played it in a movie.....
But seriously, Fred for President, I don’t think so.

Sorry Fred, as much as I like you you had your chance and blew it.
We will be electing incumbent Vice President Palin for President.

He can run for VP in ‘12. Palin ‘12!
To: Zman
Sorry Fred, you had your shot.
2012 is VP Palin's if McCain decides not to have a 2nd term.

I think that Jindal, Palin, Thune, DeMintt, Steele, Cantor...these are the new faces of the party.
I love Fred, but he will be a tad old in 2012.
Palin/Jindal 2012
To: Zman
Optimism is a wonderful thing, and Fred Thompson certainly needs it after his performance in this election cycle. That, or hone his acting skills so that he can simulate excitement, or even a pulse.
I'm hoping for a McCain win rather than "Thompson 2012".
To: Zman
He’s already showing signs of tiring.

Fred's the candidate I've been most enthused about since Ronald Reagan but I fear McCain will win and Fred will never have another chance. Don't get me wrong, I'll be voting for McCain. Why? Because I can't let Obama be president.
