Heh, heh. And the rest of the story is that California Republicans are poking Schwarzy in the eye by not voting for his 1% "temporary" sales tax increase.

In your face, Maria's Husband.

This just in, Arnold Schwarzenegger (Kennedy) is leaving the GOP to become a Democrat. This completes the Govinator’s political morphing which began in 2003 during the California recall election of Grey Davis.

In other news, Barack Obama approved of Schwarzy’s decision and Joe Biden toasted his new found ally with an extra large glass of Jack Daniels poured over a tray and a half of ice cubes.

One Conservative for a RINO and a draft pick to be named later. Nice trade.

He is staying away because he was asked to. No coincidence that Thompson is taking over. This is not the year of the “moderate” and nobody wants to see his Kennedy wife or hear his European Socialist crap.

It’s best he not attend. Palin might terminate him for his socialist policies. ;^)

The budget is TWO MONTHs passed due. This isn't a comment on the ticket by Arnold.

Since Thompson was "my guy" in the primary, I'm pleased he'll have a larger roll now.

California government spends 40% more than it did just prior to Arnie taking office. And that’s greater than the rate of inflation adjusted for population growth. He made nice with the RATs and they spent the state into a deficit together. Nobody wants to be the adult who’ll stand up and say that we have got to cut government jobs and government regulations. For my part they go together. I don’t want across the board cuts. Cut out whole functions and fund what’s left so that it can do the job its chartered to do.
