Unfortunately most financial disclosure forms report only what the preparer “is told to report”,usually very little.
The details are always in the footnotes, even then most assets owned by criminals like biden are hidden under other names to begin with.

i’m a great believer that the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior.

What Biden’s 1988 campaign revealed was repeated cases of:
-plagarism (law school, RFK’s speeches, Kinnock’s speaches)
-lies about achievements (3 degrees, scholarship, top of class, marched for civil rights)
-personal financial overextension

Biden is still heavily indebted (300K+ lines of credit) and i guarantee that we will see new instances of plagarism and lies as well... there is big “Eagleton” potential here to get dumped before nomination.

Biden sure is a long-winded gasbag prone to making gaffes.

This is going to be like shooting fish in a barrel.

We’ve got two classic bullshitters prone to making gaffes on the Obama ticket.

—Biden is a bullshitter in the sense that he’s long-winded and a plagiarist.

—Obama is a bullshitter in the sense that he’s slick and a narcissist.

A plagiarist and a narcissist!

I so look forward to the Dysfunctional Democratic Convention with Hitlery and HillBillery brooding in the backdrop. What a total bunch of losers.

Hi, dear...the Dems and Drive-Bys are doing a great job spinning this as the most fabulous dream ticket. When it's our turn you know someone will be fuming and that's all we'll hear about until Election Day.

Last time Mitt was on H&C, Sean asked about them getting along and Mitt said they did...that McCain even campaigned for him in Massachusetts.

He hasn’t been Senator from Delaware from 1972 for nothing, folks. Most don’t care that a lot of what Joe says is clumsy, politically incorrect, buffoonish. Joe Biden is viewed as a politico who says it straight and tough. He is admired to pointing out that Indians run all the Dunkin’s Donuts and 7-11’s. Such talk is considered childish by the DC hoi polloi but heh, Joe is beloved and will be beloved by Americans across the fruited plains. Limited, of course, to low-IQ liberals, the well-meaning ladies at the beauty parlor, “moderates” and the rest who only pay attention oncit every four years.

Hopefully it can be pointed out to the "oncit every four years" crowd that Joe Biden has spent 35 years in the Senate voting anti-freedom, liberal 87% of the time.

We have too many self-identified "real" conservatives who have pre-adolescent attitudes. They expect everyone else to see the world exactly as they do. Whenever they encounter someone who deviates even a tiny bit from their worldview, they fuss and fume like kids having temper tantrums. Such "real" conservatives enjoy pointing fingers at the DU types who behave the same way from the leftist side, without ever realizing they're look at mirror images of themselves.

Biden reminds me of Senator Roark in Sin City.

Think that this is the overwhelming reason Obambi picked Biden:

Biden bloviates for Obama

Obama desperately needs "foreign policy cred" and Biden had proved he is willing to vehemently counter-attack criticisms of Obambi and Democrats as "appeasers" etc.

Of course, we know that President Bush did not even mention Obama or any Democrat, but it is most "interesting" how they all immediately assumed the remark was about them!!

McCain is going to win Ohio.

That is why Hillary won Ohio so big in the primaries. The voters their don’t like his extreme liberalism.

McCain is the perfect type of Republican for Ohio. I think he could win it bigger than Bush.

The only reason he might not is that no one in the base wants to work for him in Ohio.

but that may not really matter. Obama is not that popular in Ohio.

Biden certainly will not help the matter.

I’ve been reading for years, and love the posts. Thank you all. I couldn’t help but notice (and felt compelled to share) the democratic “fable” trend that is occurring:

“I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy, I mean, that’s a storybook, man.” - Biden shocked blacks can be bright, clean and articulate.

Or Bill Clinton’s: “Give me a break. This whole thing is the biggest fairy tale I’ve ever seen.”

I suppose it is somewhat surreal that Obama has gotten this far.

One thing this ticket is seriously missing: Geographic balance.

It's bad enough that Obama is a Chicago-land lib, but adding a Northeasterner to that ticket does nothing.

No one from a Border State (Kaine), no one from the heartland (Bayh), no one from the South (Nelson), no one from the West (_______).

Another Northeasterner to add to the list of Dukakis, Lieberman, Kerry, etc.....

So a leftist with a short legislative career and short history of damning statements has chosen his running mate to be a leftist with a long legislative career and history of damning statements ?
I don't think I have ever been so thankful to lose a pool bet. (I picked Evan Bayh.)
