To make up for Obama's wind-powered campaign?

The perfect is the enemy of the good.

Most of us supported someone else in the primaries. That ship has sailed.

Now, we have a choice of McCain or Obama. Of the two, there is absolutely no question which one is more conservative. There is absolutely no question which one supports our troops, who, as you have apparently forgotten, are currently at war. There is absolutely no question which one will appoint activist, pro-abortion judges to the Supreme Court. There is absolutely no question which one will dramatically increase taxes and socialist spending programs. There is absolutely no question which one supports socialized medicine. There is absolutely no question which one wants to see gas at $4 a gallon and more, and which one supports drilling here. There is absolutely no question which one loves this country, served it honorably, and believes in American exceptionalism, and which one despises this country.

Those are your two choices. There are no others. Anyone who persists in opposing McCain at this point can only be doing so because they support Obama.

You are with us, and our service members in harm’s way, or you are against us.

McBama supports drilling as long as its electorally feasible.

Lets see. Near 100% chance of dem majority. Good chance of dem filibusterproof majority. Hmm... If they nuke funds for the war and kill off supreme court choices, assuming, laughably, that McBama will pick good choices (hahahahahaha).

What are you left with? A white, very old Obama. Tax raising (denying it is stupid, and you are factually challenged or stupidly gullible if you even try to say otherwise and don’t belong here), global warming believing, anti-drilling (John McLame! Genuine conservative since February 2008! Pandering has nothing to do with it, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain), liberal judge enabling, free speech suppressing, gun controlling (McLame Lieberman gun show bill, supported reenacting “assault weapons” ban), border ignoring/amnesty enabling, bailout believing socialist.

And per my tagline, what good is a military enabling freedom abroad when you have an all oppressive domestic federal government?

Seems kind of stupid to me. But, then again, I sort of have the ability to think critically. Which my conservative brethren are losing in droves, which saddens and angers me. I thought conservatives were smarter. Unfortunately I was wrong. They’re koolaid drinkers too. Party first. *sigh*

Did you just not have a pleasant Friday evening? Or did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?

I support candidates who are actually conservative, not conservative relative to someone else...because that sort of thinking can be used to justify supporting virtually anything, including Obama.

Right now, you are not supporting anyone but Barack Obama.

You are on a conservative forum, trying to dissuade conservatives from voting for the more conservative of two candidates.

When I called you on it, your only argument was a fallacious attempt to imply that I don’t do my part to support FR.

Screw you, Troll.

Some folks just can't handle the truth that we're stuck between two boobs. This November, Americans are in for a screwing, regardless of which Democrat wins.

All you do is pound the table. The FACTS aren’t on your side. You support a LIBERAL DEMOCRAT with an (R) after his name. If you were honest, you would admit that.

Yes, all my Staunch BIG "R" friends I am registered as a Republican but I am an American First a Conservative Second and Republican falls waaaay on down the list.

All my Staunch BIG "R" friends get very hot under the collar when I promise to not vote for a Democrat no matter what party the candidate sez he is in!

McCain is a fiscal conservative who has consistently opposed earmarks. He has consistently supported our troops.

Would I call him a staunch conservative? Of course not.

Is he more conservative than his opponent? Undoubtedly.

Who is likelier to do more damage to this country: McCain or Obama? The answer to that question isn’t even close. Those are your two choices. One of those two men will be president in five months. Those are your only choices. I don’t like it any more than you do - but you need to grow up and deal with it, instead of attempting to foment some kind of ballot box tantrum that sticks us with an America-hating socialist capitulator like Barack Obama.

McCain's lifetime rating from the American Conservative Union is 83.

He has been ranked favorably by other conservative organizations: National Federation of Independent Business 100 percent; Concerned Women for America  100 percent; Family Research Council 100 percent; National Tax Limitation Committee 94 percent; Citizens Against Government Waste  91 percent; and the National Taxpayers Union  88 percent.

Citizens Against Government Waste 2008 Congressional Pig Book Member List

Obama 97.4 million dollars in pork
McCain  NONE

Barack Hussein Obama, says of his nominees, "We need somebody who's got the heart, the empathy, to recognize what it's like to be a young teenage mom, the empathy to understand what it's like to be poor or African-American or gay or disabled or old and that's the criteria by which I'll be selecting my judges."

John McCain says of his nominees, "The duties and boundaries of the Constitution are not just a set of helpful suggestions. They are not just guidelines to be observed when it's convenient and loosely interpreted when it isn't. In federal and state courts there are still men and women who understand the proper role of our judiciary and I intend to find them and promote them. My nominees will understand that there are clear limits to the scope of judicial power."

McCain has fought for every conservative appointment to the high court, including Robert Bork.

He has never voted for a tax increase

No comparison between John McCain,  and Obama, the Muslim militant.

Who said anyone here was voting for Obama?

Or maybe you confuse rejecting Juan with worshiping The One, just like some Freepers like to confuse conservatism and Republican Party membership.

McCain is a fiscal conservative who has consistently opposed earmarks.

But he loves bailing out private companies. Who's going to bail him and the rest of the insolvent Federal Government out when the fuel tank hits empty?

That is not the mark of a fiscal conservative.

Is he more conservative than his opponent? Undoubtedly.

Hillary is more conservative than Obama but I would not vote for her under any circumstances.

Who is likelier to do more damage to this country: McCain or Obama? The answer to that question isn’t even close.

More damage...before or after amnesty and government handouts for tens of millions of illegal aliens, plus a wholesale sellout to Al Gore's carbon credit cabal Oh wait, McCain was a leading proponent of both as a sponsor of the Climate Security Acts and of the McCain-Kennedy "comprehensive" immigration bill.

Those are your only choices.

"Either attack the Democrats, even though our Nominee is one of them...and the Commissars will shoot any deserters and surrender monkeys who refuse to die for the Glorious RINO Party!" /sarc

Stop deluding yourself.

Does your mommy still ties your shoes?

You know, my mom passed away in 2005, so that would be physically impossible.

But then again, lots of McCainiacs continue to live in a la-la land where logic does not apply and where they can delude themselves into believing the lies that McCain is a conservative and that he may actually throw them a bone once in a while. It's rather pathetic.
