Oh, I don’t think it was a great speech. But compare it to the rumors yesterday and earlier, that she wouldn’t even mention Obama by name. That didn’t come to pass, and I saw at least one paper’s headline this morning blaring “Barack Obama is my candidate!” with Shrillary pictured. So I think she came through for him, much more than she let him down. And I think the Rapist will do the same tonight.
But overall, while it hasn’t been a disaster, the Obamites can’t be particularly pleased so far with the convention - especially looking at the recent polling numbers.

Mr. Krauthammer apparently is not yet a converted disciple. :-)
Yes, there’s no doubt tomorrow is going to be a spectacle. But that may play well with this crowd. Remember the moronic Al & Tipper Gore kiss that they couldn’t stop talking about in 2000?
It might play well with the 70,000 adoring obamamaniacs, it will fly like a lead balloon with the rest of the electorate. This is a bigger mistake than Berlin. Far bigger.
Of course that remains to be seen. But McCain and friends have been effective in chinking his armor with the whole line of celebrity attacks. This does play right into that. I don’t get it.
But HE HAS A DREAM!! :-)
Obama is an egomaniac of the first order. He makes Clinton look humble. It will be his undoing.
Well, its over two weeks. What say ye now?
Now we're waiting to see if McCain's bounce settles back down, or if the Palin selection has truly changed the dynamics of this race. In the polls, anyway. There's no doubt in my mind she's changed the dynamic by firing up a lackadaiscal conservative base.
