What, you couldn't afford to buy the house and the adjacent lot the property owner wanted to sell together, so you get the Rezko's to buy the lot at asking price and the magically the property owner lowers the price of the house by $300,000.00.

What, then later the Rezkos sell you 1/6th of the lot and one of the Rezko lawyer friends buys the remaining.

I am so sick of the Republican Party being referred to as Elitists and as being the party of the rich. I never was rich. I was a single mom for over 23 years with no support payments at all. I single-handedly raised 3 children, had 3 jobs at one time for over 7 years, sent all 3 children to college (and grad school) and they worked to help finance their education, too. And at 64 I am still working to survive even a middle class lifestyle. Yet, with most members in Congress being Democrats, most are much wealthier than I. I also hate the inference that it is rich Republicans (and the Bush family, specifically) who are the ones who have ties to big oil companies and own all the oil wells and that has made the problem this country has with gasoline prices. Someone should do a study about how many Democrats are in the oil business and/or own oil wells. I bet there are more of them, just as there are more liberal, rich, Dems in Hollywood who have little else to do but publically denounce any Republican who has achieved wealth.

And what is the difference if a person was given his education paid for by his family, versus a person who was given his education paid for by the government, or scholarships, or grants ala Barack and Michelle Obama? Or a person who worked hard to buy an expensive home, who happens to be a Republican - vs. a Democrat who did the same? Why do the Dems criticize the results a Republican gets from his/her hard work efforts to become wealthy, yet they will praise any Democrat for the same effort and find no fault with the personal wealth that Dem. gained? The double standard is disgusting! And the blind middle-class or poor sheeple are not smart enough to see that their Democrat leaders control a huge percentage of America's wealth while telling everyone else they should share their riches with the poor. The Dems play a game with them and promise them some "pie in the sky" gifts and entitlements all at cost to the taxpayers. Yet, how many Democrat elitists are willing to part with their money personally for the good of the underprivileged or minority sects without getting what is most important to them - some favorable PR or a tax break?!
