Thank you for the response, RT.
I’m not sure if you mean ‘on this thread’, or anytime it involves the YFZ Ranch case, but you have made it clear (twice now)’that’ is what you want to discuss and debate, specifically.
All I was trying to do was get a little honesty out of you.
The discussion on this thread was about the YFZ Ranch case, and the end of oversight on 34 more FLDS children.
You tried to hijack the thread to discuss something that wasn’t even being mentioned, instead of discussing the ‘issue at hand’.
Since the LDS has nothing to do with the YFZ Ranch case, It makes one wonder why you insist on discussing ‘just that’.
Ergo, my question. It wasn’t a jab, as you can discuss anything you wish.
All I was asking was for you to be honest about it. Is that the only interest you have in the case?
(and perhaps it’s my fault for not ‘asking’ it that way, instead of putting it as a conclusion. I apologize for that)
” Im a female who supports the notion that whatever CONSENTING ADULTS do in their own homes is their own business... shocking eh?”
Polygamy is not just about one household and one generation. It is a system of living that is passed down for many generations. It has the necessity of being brutal to perpetuate the practice. The women must be strongly disciplined to keep them from fighting, and the young males have to be culled out. You oversimplify.
