For those who don’t want to click on the LATimes site: the other one is Jim Whitaker, mayor of the Fairbanks North Star Borough in Alaska.
The only that matters here is Watts. Chafee and ilk were never Conservatives/Republicans to begin with. I’m sorely dissapointed that a Conservative like Watts is being blinded by Obama’s color.
Gorbachev is backing Putin because the alternative is a painful death.
I wonder if there’s a threat involved (somebody’s found Hillary’s FBI files again) or if these guys are just RINOs.
I find it hard to believe a true free market American could even contemplate siding with a Marxist
Iowa= ethanol. Darn skippy he doesn’t want anyone who wants to drill for OIL. I could be wrong, and many ppl will happily point it out and gloat, but every time I have heard a politician from Iowa speak lately, they are against drilling.
Another candidate for a still unwritten book titled “Great Moderates America Could Do Without.”
JC Watts is not undecided. JC Watts is not backing Obama, period.
you have got to be kidding me.
We don't need a third party. We need a SECOND one.
Watts lost all of my respect by just mentioning that he might vote for Obama. He will never get that respect back. Even if he doesn’t vote for Obama the fact that he ever considered it based entirely on race is disgusting. Surprising and disgusting.
The other two RINO’s were always liberal losers who aren’t liked by Republicans or Democrats.
An Alaskan mayor for Obama (and Stevens)
The mayoral election in Fairbanks is a non-partisan affair. But as someone whose vote helped elect Whitaker mayor in the first election when he became mayor, I can say with good knowledge it was the Democrats and Independents that got him elected since he was running against a much more conservative Republican who he didn't want to see in the job. Needless to say, Whitaker is a very smart, fairly non-ideological guy--more of a small business, small/good government Republican. As to his support of Stephens and Young...If you are the mayor of Fairbanks you don't **** off them that brings you home the federal dollars until they are out of office.

Whitaker doesn't have the "intellectual capacity" to recognize "intellectual capacity". If Barry was such an intellect, how come he never published any intellectual papers during his 'distinguished' career at Harvard? We could check out his senior thesis, but he seems to have 'lost' it.
I saw two other clowns on O’Reilly last night who are “Republicans” who are at least “considering” Obama. One was a former Reagan worker, and neither he nor the other one (running for Congress in Oregon)could really come up with a valid reason for supporting him other than his persona. I’d bet Reagan is flipping over in his grave hearing someone who worked for and supported him is voting for a socialist.
So what if some Republicans endorse Obama? There were Jews serving in the highest levels of the Nazi government. Guess oddity is not a new phenomena.

The idiot, Leach, should check with Dubya as to how all that bi-partisam “new tone” crap works out. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
The NYSun has a very interesting editorial on the anti-Israel bent of the three most prominent members of this group.
Rita Hauser is a PLO apologist with a long record of meetings with Yasser Arafat, even while the US government was calling him a terrorist.
Lincoln Chaffee was the Senator chiefly responsible for scotching John Bolton’s confirmation as US Ambassador to the UN, on the grounds that he was not “even-handed” enough with respect to Israel/Palestinian affairs. Chaffee was one of only four Senators to vote against the Syria Accountability Act.
Jim Leach made a speech on the floor of the House titled “The Case for Restraint Against Iran.” He was one of only 21 House members to vote against the Iran Freedom Support Act.
Couple this with Obama’s endorsement by a leader of Hamas plus many thousands of dollars in illegal campaign contributions from a Palestinian group.
Draw your own conclusions.
