I didn’t think homeschoolers were making that big of a dent. Or figured we were offset by the # of ilegales in the classrooms.

There’s a big push right now by the state homeschool org to get as many members as possible. “To counteract the number in the teachers’ union.” They want us to get grandmas and neighbors to join. One group around here actually takes every opportunity to bash HSLDA in the process, saying they’re not as useful because they’re national and not “local” or “statewide.” But really they just hate it because it’s a Christian org.

with 100% certainty, ANY and ALL "education" improvements is code for more benefits, more time off , and more money to the teachers....while our education budgest have mushroomed like an atomic bomb in this country, our students learn less, and achieve less...so money and benefits DON'T MEAN A THING.....

we had 38/class in our Catholic grade school.....we had no hot lunch...we had no labs, no computers, a small library, the teacher actually read to us everyday....

Sanctuary cities are getting expensive on the locals. Only a matter of time before the voters in SF get the picture.

Well, the LAUSD “DEMOGRAPHER” screwed up big time...they built all those new schools based on her stats....she is still there too. It is the same as how they say California will gain 36 million more people every three weeks.

Cut off the Illegals and the problem with socialist education still wouldn't be solved.
Rats have never met an education budget they couldn't spend more on.

It probably wouldn't be a problem if they would actively go after the ILLEGALS.

You know, fewer ILLEGALS on welfare, fewer ILLEGALS demanding health care, fewer children of ILLEGALS clogging up the schools, and therefore, fewer budget problems.

Of course, that would also mean fewer ILLEGALS voting for Democrats.

But the schools up in the high desert are so overcrowded, there aren’t even seats for students in some classes. I was talking with the moms of some high schoolers this afternoon about it.

Someone *really* screwed up.
