Amazingly, Deborah Kaplan, deputy commissioner of the city Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, told the business journal that the answer to the problem is more access to birth control.
To me, the problem is access," she said. If we improved access to contraceptives, there would be a reduction in abortion."
She couldn't be more wrong!

They don’t get it. It’s not about birth control and access to it. It’s about moral degeneration and the ignorance it perpetuates.

seems like a demographic issue. wonder what the rate is in places like detroit, philly, etc. you can’t go outside for 1/2 hour in nyc, and not see a way to get free contraceptives.

72 pregnancies end in abortion in New York for every 100 births.
WOAH.
So 72 out of every 172. Thats 42%

They think abortion is birth control. I lived in a sorority house in the early 90s. I can think of half a dozen girls without trying who quite unemotionally “just got it taken care of” — including my roommate of one semester.

72%! That's as horrific as it is unbelievable.

The good news is, liberal Democrats are killing themselves off at an alarming rate.
I don’t like abortions but the Democrats are following their plan of racial purity. I’m sure Democrats will be pushing abortions to Hispanics more than ever before.

I really don’t know. This may be surprising, but I didn’t keep up with them much.

DC actually has the highest rate in the nation. 1 in 50. This also has a racial component as the city is 57% black but 86% of the people with HIV/AIDS are black. Drug use, homosexuality, being on the ‘down low,’ etc.

I really don’t know. This may be surprising, but I didn’t keep up with them much. Not surprising but ironic. Supposedly one of the reasons for joining a fraternity or sorority is to make friends you'll maintain contact with for the rest of your life.
