During recent decades, the West has been systematically testing Moscow leaders for strength. (...) A multitude of tests were invented for Vladimir Putin, including the military provocation in Dagestan, explosions in Moscow houses, and the capture of a school by a group of terrorists in Beslan, North Ossetia. Suggesting that the West is responsible for the Chechen terrorists killiny children in Beslan and bombing Moscow?
Full of cr*p to the ears.

I agree. The idea that everyone was “testing” poor, little, innocent Russia is just a childish whine.

KGB is long gone. This article is just the peice of the far right politicals of Russia. I do not agree with it but you should know who you are seen from Russia shores.

West do not give up those who responsible: Akhmed Zakaev, Berezovskii and so on. The line of aurgument is if they do not give them then they are supporting them.

No, that's not what the author wrote. You are reinterpreting it. The author clearly accused the West of
planning the Beslan massacre and Moscow bombing to test Putin!KGB is long gone.
The KGB is alive and well running Russia under the name of FSB. Look at the biographies of Putin and his buddies.

What in your opinion is the difference between “far-right” politicals of Russia and far left politicals?

“Andropov was tested by a South Korean aircraft illegitemately entering Soviet airspace”
It is indeed good to be reminded of the shootdown of the KAL 747 civilian airliner and the murder of hundreds of innocents by the Kremlin dictators.
It is especially important today as we watch similarly barbaric behavior by Russia in Georgia.
Thank you for the post.

This sounds just like Pravda. Or something penned by Josef Goebels; though, it has nothing on Julius Streicher and his “Der Sturmer,” but give it time.

All right I admit this author went to far. I red many pieces but this one make me shiver too. The problem is that those articles forming the public opinion now. It is just the translation from Russian. On Russia I see too many of them.
Now Russia is in war and we see America on other side we think that America all stupid to give up on Saaki propaganda or all cunning. This author thinks all cunning. I think - first but I’m in minority now.

Andropov was tested by a South Korean aircraft illegitimately entering the air territory of the USSR. That's a load of horsecrap RusIvan. KAL007 was shot down by Soviet MiGs and killed 300+ civilians.
Has everyone played nice with the Russians. No, but claiming that the Korean airliner was a test is pure fantasy.

It was the test. The test of Anti-aircraft system. Since there was american intellegence airplane. It recorded the electronic emittions and conversations. After all who recorded those fighter pilot conversation.
Whole matter was good for the intellegence. They got it a lot.
