The “human rights groups” must be on vacation. Can’t the U.S. Supreme Court DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS??

Maybe Pelosi will adopt a resolution to sue them. That’ll make it stop for sure!

Russia has veto power in the Security Council, and I don’t expect them to repeat the dumb moves they made at the start of Korea.

A lot of these photos look staged like the Palestinians do against Israel, but some of them look sad and real.

Stalin had pushed the North Koreans to cross the 38th, and temporarily boycotted the UN to assure US entry into the conflict under the mantle of the UN. He knew Truman could not be counted upon to defend South Korea otherwise. Newly Communist China was thereby forced to go to war with the US, to avoid having a unified ,free and democratic Korea on its northern flank. The US got handed a disaster, China became dependent upon Russia for over two decades and the Korean peninsula stayed just as it was befor Stalin orchestrated the whole affair. Don’t be misled, Russia made brilliant moves at the start of Korea.

We shouldn’t be on any side. This is Russia’s backyard, let them do what they want there.

That first picture, it looks like some chaps legs and feet to the right of the woman’s left shoulder. Sad.

We shouldnt be on any side. This is Russias backyard, let them do what they want there.Yeah, and Poland was in Hitler's backyard.
What? Godwin's Law, you say? But it was the Russian ambassador to the U.N. who played the "genocide" card.

This begs the question...If all those that support the U.S. as being the worlds cop, protector of freedom, why has the current U.S. administration not intervened militarily if we have friends in this fight? We are hearing SW broadcast that over 3,000 are dead, and countless injured.
To be honest, I am not expecting much of a response to the question.

OKJ. I must admit that my knowledge of that history is somewhat limited.
My original observation stands: The UN will not/can not do anything about Georgia.

We can, and must begin a total economic boycott of Russia.

We can, and must begin a total economic boycott of Russia. We've pulled that trick too many times. A general boycott by the US doesn't do much good.
To: Pearls Before Swine
We need to require other states to participate in the boycott, if they are to have access to U.S. markets.

Separatist regimes that open diplomacy by shelling their neighbors towns tend to end up getting trashed. And like clockwork, the liberals always sympathize with the ‘poor’ folks that just wanted to do a little killing and not suffer the consequences.
What is it about liberals that they hate anyone that reminds them that there are consequences to our actions in life?
