I should be more respectful to the French Marines who fight in Afghanistan. There are 3,000 of them, although the articles I've found that provide this total add 1,700 and 700 and say that the French won't release the actual number.

There have been 12 deaths among the French forces in Afghanistan. Three of them were due to vehicle accidents.

I shall now be more respectful of the French government, otherwise it might not allow its airforce to overfly its own country in order to fight alongside the United States.

No, I won't.

The French need to take some vacations in some of the various debacles their government helped bring about. Vietnam, Haiti, and Iraq would be good places, but they'd probably just head to Paris and blame us for their "contributions" to the world.
