its the false loyalty that many inner city blacks have to their "hoods" that keeps them from finding safe havens....they deserve to go where they want to, where they can afford, where they have friends, etc.....

Yup. San Fran ain’t that tolerant, believe me. The feel-good doctrine by the libs is just one big smoke-screen.

Where is it written in stone, that a city must have a certain percent of black people. The decrease in S.F. proves only one thing to me, the black people are smarter than the feel good warm fuzzy libs.

As I recall, the city gov’t in S.F. had a similar task force set up to study the movement of middle class families with children out of S.F. and how to stop that outflow.
S.F. is very expensive, and the social climate is liberal and more tolerant than many would like to various “alternate” type lifestyles. If a place is expensive, and the social/political views of critical masses of people are too far out there for most people, then most people will vote with their feet.
The middle-class children exodus seems to have slowed down this year, as the incoming Kindergarten classes have increased substantially, and it seems the increase was in those groups. I think its a consequence of the property markets collapsing in the suburbs, as it was the typical scenario to have mostly white and Asian couples renting in SF move out when the first kids came.
This may be a temporary blip, but who knows.

This is nothing new. For the past 30 years the trust-fund hippies have been pricing blacks, families, and just in general people who work for a living out of San Francisco via rent fixing (making housing so “affordable” there isn’t any), property taxes, fees on absolutely everything, etc.
The number of blacks and children drop every year. But don’t worry, San Francisco doesn’t need blacks since it’s so full of an even higher-ranking kind of “diversity”.
First lefties drove out working class whites, and now they turn on lefty supporting blacks.
Good. Maybe the ones leaving are becoming conservatives in the process
