I've been thinking that too. It's only a matter of time before some left-wing Democrat shill comes up with a line of reasoning that somehow (a) lays this off on President Bush and (b) is not totally off-the-wall loony-tunes sounding. When that happens, every MSM commentator and talking head will pick up the line and babble it into the echo chamber.

Russia wants to control the flow of oil to Europe. That way they can blackmail them by threatening to cut off their oil if the Europeans don’t obey the Kremlin’s whims. That’s why they’re arming Iran with missiles and nukes; so the mullahs can do the same to the major oil-producers in the Middle East.
This move by Russia was about oil. The Energy War has begun.
