“The descriptor ‘Black’ is a pseudonym for ‘African American’, Afro-American, etc. In other words, it doesn’t really refer to Haitians, Africans, black Hispanics, Caribbeans, etc., but rather traditional black Americans, thus making it more of an ethnic based organization than a racial one (like the ethnic organizations listed above).”

Uh...what? So Haitians, Africans, et al, aren’t really ‘black?’ Man, when you people watch the left to go to extraordinary lengths to explain why ‘their’ racism is ok, just take a look at yourself. Thats the most twisted logic I have ever seen.

I guess by the same token, “White” doesn’t refer to European Australians/Europeans/South Africans, etc. Just Whites in America.

Say, since it’s ethnic, not racial, for “African-Americans...” Which common ethnicity do they share?

Here I was under the impression that Blacks in America were from a wide spectrum of Black African ethnicities and cultures. I didn’t realize they were a homogenous group...let me guess, African slavery didn’t happen for thousands of years, over the entire continent, the White man just swooped in ONCE and took a really, really, really large village.

Righto. Like I said, if you accept identity politics when it benefits you, you lose the moral high ground to resist them when it doesn’t benefit you. Kind of like how we all love to point out the endless examples of leftist hypocracy. And we’re never going to ‘out handout’ the handout party, and it will only destroy ours further.

You know, this reminded me of something. Sorry for not putting it in my other post to you. But, it finally came to me.

You sound just like “La Raza” supporters when they say their group isn’t racist, it just means ‘the people, its completely harmeless,’ while they smile around the fact that its translation is THE RACE. So no doubt you’re in agreement with them.

Use some common sense. When Americans say "black culture" who are they referring to? They are referring to the specific culture/subculture practiced by traditional black Americans. In this context, that is basically what is being represented by the organization in question. I'm quite sure that you have used the term "blacks" for the sole purpose of referencing black Americans.

I guess by the same token, “White” doesn’t refer to European Australians/Europeans/South Africans, etc. Just Whites in America.

Think of it like this. If the term "White" appears on the name of an organization that likewise has the term "National" in it, that would be substantial evidence that it is representing the white people of that nation right? And the difference with the term "white" is that whites generally have some knowledge of their ethnic ancestry (Anglo, Italian, German, Scottish, Irish, Polish, Ethnically Jewish, etc.). The vast majority of Black/African Americans have no such knowledge, hence the forming of a homogeneous black American ethnicity.

As addressed above, such knowledge was wiped clean during slavery and current traditional black Americans are mixture of various tribes and regions they have little knowledge of (slaver owners were not interested in keeping tribal members together when breeding their slaves). How many blacks do you know who have any working knowledge of any African culture and traditions? And it is funny that you would make this statement with so many pointing the finger at tribalism as the culprit in Africa's problems, yet you seem to want black Americans to embrace that same tribalism.

Do you equally speak out equally against those ethnic based republican organizations mentioned in my first response to you?

I won't be drawn into a discussion unrelated to the thread.

Bottom line: Rice is doing a great service by telling the truth about the Democrat operatives who've been sticking a knife in the backs of Americans of all races for years; the demographic she's focusing upon needs to hear the truth particularly because it has been one of the staunchest supporters of the Democrats.

God bless Frances Rice!
It’s not surprising that so many Republican cowards are looking at their feet and whimpering.

She is so politically active that tax lawyers question why the NBRA has nonprofit status.

I forget... Do "tax lawyers question" the NAACP?

You don’t know much about the history of the KKK, do you?
