Plants go to heaven?
Crabgrass and stinkweeds and dandelions?
Seriously?
To: WilliamReading
I certainly hope so.
I’ve never had a human give me the unconditional love and affection my dogs have.
If any creature deserves to live in a perfect afterlife, it’s dogs. Mankind is a far distant second and losing ground daily.

Your “little spirit guides”?
Can you see them now?

“There are several other passages that deal with spiritual issues regarding created beings other than humankind. Not a sparrow falls ... God loves and cares for His creation, which was subjected to death and corruption through sin. Sin and death will be destroyed. All will be restored, save the unrepentant, to the life without death that has been God’s plan all along.”

My dog refuses to profess his faith, and I am concerned he may be an atheist. Since he is obviously unrepentant, what should I do to get him to see the light?
BTW, I got a chuckle out of your statement that God loves and cares for His creation so much, he subjected it to death. Religious people are funny.

“Well, that’s one person’s opinion.
I prefer to believe the Bible over man.”

Amen, it the cult of death.

I’m not denying that God cares for creation, wants us to be kind to animals, or values animals.
I am just saying the Bible is silent on specific animals specifically going to heaven. It does not discuss that.
I do know mankind is the only created “thing” with a soul.
I do know it is mentioned in heaven that there are animals there. Trees are mentioned, too. But are they resurrected trees that once lived on earth? That’s a stretch.
I think it is fine to hope that your beloved pet will be with you in heaven. I was just commenting that, from Scripture, we can’t be sure of that.

The question should be, is there animals in Heaven ? and the answer is a definite YES ? why ? well, in the Book of Revelations, it says that Jesus will be coming back to Earth on a White Horse....
To: Salvation
But, Were do animals go then ? are they mindless robots ?
Does the Bible say anything about animals going to hell ?
The Only thing(s) that will be in hell are the fallen humans who have not received Jesus Christ as Saviour, the devil, and the demons ( fallen angles who rebelled against God ).
To: Prophet in the wilderness
"...and the lion will lie down with the lamb..."
And even though that is likely a metaphor, it references animals giving further credence to what you stated about the white horse.

There will be gold, water, trees ? , so why is it any stretch to think that animals will be in heaven ?

BTW, I got a chuckle out of your statement that God loves and cares for His creation so much, he subjected it to death. Religious people are funny. And atheists are so...full of spite. Why is it that most atheists seem so bitter and unhappy?
(As if I didn't know...)
I feel sorry for you. I really do.

Of course, this leads to another question ? if most people thing that we will spend all eternity in heaven, why then ? God tells us that he is going to create a New Heaven and a New Earth ?
Why did God create all the solar systems with all it's planets ?
Maybe ? we will be able to live on the new earth will glorified bodies, and there be animals, trees, water, the way God intended from the start before the fall and we will be able to go back and forth between the new earth and heaven ?

There is no such thing. Once your vitals stop, you no longer exist. Period. "Use your brain" and prove it.

" BTW, I got a chuckle out of your statement that God loves and cares for His creation so much, he subjected it to death."
It was man who chose to subject all of creation to the curse by rebelling against God.
Man was not subjected to death before the fall, and man had everything thing he needed in a pure life and earth.
Death ( spiritual, and physical ) is the penalty that we deserve for not obeying God.
We can't blame God for getting ourselves into to this mess.
It is God's love , mercy, grace to save those who put their trust in Jesus Christ to save them from eternal damnation.....
God didn't have to save sinful people, and he had every right NOT to do so, but, out of his love, he chose to do it.
