I have a feeling there will be more nonsense at the DNC shindig in Denver than the good people of Colorado can tolerate. The convention could come back to bite the Democrats in the rear.
Schaffer needs $$ ! Udall is a Boulder moonbat and needs to be fully exposed as such (as should his cousin, the Santa Fe moonbat).
This IS very good news. Udall shouldn’t even be close, but then, neither should Obama!
For Coloradans, this should be a no brainer.
Perhaps a bit early, but do we have anybody warming up in the bullpen to challenge the no-brained moonbat Auggie Ritter in 2010 ?
Funny, Mormon and Dem from the western states just doesn’t add up.
I think Bill Ritter can be beaten in 2010. The list of names mentioned for challenging Ritter is growing. Could be one of three former Senator’s -— Bill Armstrong, Hank Brown or Wayne Allard. Former Congressman Scott McInnis and former Lt. Gov. Jane Norton have also been mentioned. Along with Pete Coors, again.
Good chance Bill Owens may take on Ken Salazar for Colorado’s Senate seat in 2012. I think Owens can win too.
Salazar’s seat is up in 2010, not 2012.
Good news, but NM is firmly for the other Udall.
Bill Armstrong would be great, but the only downside is that he’ll be 73 in 2010 (and not too many individuals begin their Gubernatorial careers past the age of 70). Heaven forbid if Schaffer comes up short this year, he should be the #1 choice.
My problem with McInnis is his bizarre behavior in ‘04, first acting as though he was going to run for the Senate and then opting not only not to run for that, but dropping out of the House race, which allowed both Salazar brothers to waltz to both offices.
Pete Coors will never be ready for office and his recent DUI is more evidence of that.
As for Owens, it’s doubtful I could have a lower opinion of this guy. There’s little question this guy managed to make the decades-dominant state GOP the minority party and paved the way for the lying slimeball Auggie Ritter. It’s amazing at one point I considered him potential Presidential material, but watching his escapades for 8 years disavowed me of that notion. I don’t want to see him run for any office ever again. He shouldn’t be rewarded for his failures any more than that certain ex-Gov from Massachusetts.
Pearce is wealthy, and he needs to unleash his resources against the “other” Udall. The latter has really never faced a tough opponent in his career.
He also had youthful ties to “Fort Worthless” Jim Wright.
“Does anyone know if Mark Udall of CO any relation to Tom Udall in NM?”
“All the Udall’s in politics in western states are relatives. They are a big Mormon family. Senator Gordon H. Smith (R - OR) is also related to the Udalls.”
