The Speech does deserve a BARF Alert warning. As Rush points out, while Obama tried to channel JFK and Ronald Reagan, he's clearly not in their league. The Speech had three tropes: We live in a post national world, America is to blame for all the world's problems and I - Obama am the only guy who can fix what's wrong with America. That's arrogant, offensive and ignorant. The man who wants to be our next President is literally a colossal, glittering jewel of ignorance. At the start of his speech, he didn't even thank our President, his country and have a word for his wife! Everything about the speech was boiler-plate leftist pap and after listening only to a quarter of earlier in his broadcast, Rush lost his patience. And when Rush loses his patience with a speech, that tells you how bad it was. Obama is NO Ronald Reagan!

The one element of the speech I found particularly offensive was his moral equivalent comparison of the real devastation of 9/11 with the wholly imaginary threat of global warming. The comparison is an insane and could only make sense to a leftist who believes dead terror victims are comparable to the hypothetical scenario of a planet overheating. That really, really frosted me!

The dude’s talking about global redistribution of American wealth in this speech. Is anyone going to call him on it? It made me realize the key difference between Hillary and Obama: Hillary is merely a national socialist, whereas Obama is a global socialist.
