Exactly — people the world over have been anxious to learn English for decades as they recognize it as the language of success in business, etc.
When my grandparents emigrated from Norway to the U.S. eons ago, they rushed to learn English. If I actually moved to another country, like Mexico, I would make darned sure I learned Spanish quickly.
Whether or not another nation’s people CAN speak English is immaterial; I personally think one should speak the language of the country in which they live, if possible.
There should be no need on the part of Americans, living in America, to learn any other country’s language unless they want to do so for some reason. Period.

Plus, he falls into the category “2 or more races”...He does not even fall into the category of Black American, so IF elected, he will not be the first black american, he might be the first “2 or more races” American. I wish newsweek and time would get this accurate.
