.....?.....
Probably all the same guys that post on Kos, Media Matters, HuffPo, MoveOn....
Not necessarily Catholic. He could be Greek Orthodox or Byzantine Catholic.
In any event, he got some slack because no one thought he understood the ramifications of his blasphemies.
As a Catholic, or Orthodox, he can answer to God himself because he KNOWS who resides under the auspices of bread.
God help him and have mercy on his soul. And that, I sincerely mean.
Whar does this have to do with anything?
I don't know who posts on Kos, Media Matters, HuffPo, MoveOn ... I don't visits those sites.
My only interest is the anthrax attacks of 2001. I'm just pointing out that a person who a LOT of people believe to be the "prime suspect" is not who they think he is. Plus, there's no real reason to suspect him.
Their "case" is dumber than the case was against Dr. Hatfill.
No, thanks.
It has to do with the anthrax attacks of 2001.
People who believed that Dr. Hatfill was innocent because they believed that Dr. Zack was guilty were given a boost by the settlement in the Hatfill lawsuit a week ago. Now they are lighting their torches and picking up their pitchforks to go after the FBI for not publicly investigating Dr. Zack just the way Dr. Hatfill was publicly investigated.
Wrong guy. Sorry. I have have “Zacks” on the brain.
Other than that, the article is something you can post at KOS, not here.
Interesting. Shocking that this has never been solved.
What does Dr. Zack’s Catholicism (or lack of) have to do with anything? Why is that pertinent to your suspicions?
Sorry. I was assuming that people would read the article.
There are DOZENS of web sites pointing the finger at Dr. Zack in the anthrax murders because they believe he is part of the Vast Jewish Conspiracy.
They THINK he's Jewish because his last name SEEMS Jewish. I show the sites which made that deduction.
In the article, I list many of those sites, I show what they have been saying, and I show why they believe he is Jewish.
Then I show proof that Dr. Zack is actually Catholic.
Since these people write me nearly every day, and they are out there endlessly campaigning, I'm surprised that he is such an unknown on this forum.
Thanks.
So, your saying that it’s not really a Vast Jewish conspiracy, but rather a Vast Catholic conspiracy in which the Catholics used someone who has a name that sounds Jewish just to throw them off. Those wily Catholics.
“There are DOZENS of web sites pointing the finger at Dr. Zack in the anthrax murders because they believe he is part of the Vast Jewish Conspiracy.”
Neo-nazis? Pretty Dumb Neo-nazis since Zack is an old old aristocratic German family name.
The actual main title of the article is: "Clash of The True Believers."
It's about people of all beliefs who make firm judgements based upon false or carefully selected information. In the anthrax matter, those who pointed at Dr. Hatfill fall into such a category. It's also about people who start with a belief and only look at proof which supports their belief. Those who point at al Qaeda or Iraq fall in such a category.
That's their main reason for pointing at him.
But he also worked at USAMRIID ten years before the anthrax attacks of 2001. (At the time of the attacks he lived in Colorado.)
He was also seen entering the facility without permission back then.
He's also a Veterinarian with knowledge of anthrax.
There was also a letter sent after 9/11 but before the anthrax attacks became known which told the FBI to investigate an Arab-American who once worked for USAMRIID. That Arab-American seems to think that Zack (or someone like Zack) was behind the letter. And because of the timing of the letter, he thinks the letter may have been sent by the anthrax mailer.
So, there are other reasons besides the main reason. But those other reasons don't add up to much. It's all in the article.
I was just trying to think like an FBI agent.
It was terrible what they did to Hatfill. It was also terrible what they did to Jewell in the Atlanta Olympics bombing and Wen Ho Lee at Los Alamos.
It seems they get fixated on the “usual suspects” and can’t let go. In the mean time the trail gets cold and the real perpetrators get away.
If I believed the FBI was competent, I’d say it might be a conspiracy.
I have always gotten the impression as well that it was primarily the Pat Buchanan type crowd that suspected Zack the most. The fact that he’s Catholic makes it almost amusing!
I think it's "terrible" that people refuse to look at the facts about what happened to Dr. Hatfill.
In November of 2001, some conspiracy theorists started a campaign to point the finger at Dr. Hatfill as being the guy who carried out a sinister plot by the Bush Administration.
Dr. Hatfill was investigated by the FBI in December of 2001, and they found no reason to suspect him.
In January of 2002, Nicholas Kristof of The New York Times joined with the conspiracy theorists and began accusing the FBI of not properly investigating "Mr. Z" who he later said was Dr. Hatfill.
The lead conspiracy theorist was doing interviews with newspapers all over the world about how the FBI was covering up for the person (who she did not name) who she believed was most likely behind the anthrax attacks. She also published "scientific papers" on the Federation of American Scientist's web site. And she gave lectures at universities about the FBI's "cover up."
People were writing to their congressmen about "the FBI coverup."
In June of 2002, that conspiracy theorist published a paper on the Federation of American Scientists' web site titled "What The FBI Knows." It accused the FBI of not properly investigating the person most likely behind the anthrax attacks.
Shortly afterward, some senate staffers invited that conspiracy theorist to tell them what she knew. Van Harp, who was head of the Amerithrax investigation, was also there.
The senate staffers evidently BELIEVED the conspiracy theorist, because they virtually ORDERED Van Harp to check out her theory and to report back to them.
A WEEK LATER, the FBI did its first search of Dr. Hatfill's apartment, and Dr. Hatfill suddenly became a public figure.
So, ANYONE who thinks that the FBI just started harassing Dr. Hatfill for no reason is totally WRONG and just doesn't know the facts -- or is ignoring them.
