“It might not be a big deal to you but the comment about not always being factual jumped out at me in our local paper this morning.”
What the article said was, “With a quick-from-the-lip repartee, broadcaster’s good looks and a relentlessly bright outlook if not always a command of the facts he became a popular figure around the country to the delight of his White House bosses.” I guess it depends on your perspective. To me it sounds complimentary. The bit about not always having a command of the facts is true of all press secretaries, isn’t it? That’s what his successor complained about. The White House doesn’t tell its press secretary all the facts. Never has, never will. Of course, no one is more aware of that than the White House reporters. That’s the way that I took it, and I think that’s the way it was meant, but maybe I’m wrong.
Oh please this was an attempt at eulogizing Snow - not commenting on a recent editorial he made.
There is nothing ‘cute’ to add a snarly negative to a message regarding the newly deceased.
AP however would not recognize the difference, drastically lacking in couth, respect, and brains.
“liberals” are shameless, putrid piles of offal.
Thanks for the ping. Thanks for posting. Another glaring example of Associated Propagandist’s work.
