Next they'll be outlawing sticks and stones.
I can even see the British outlawing Forks along with the Knives, but when they come for their teaspoons they'll have to pry them out of their cold dead hands! You know how the British are about their tea.
Britain is like prison. No Guns, but people getting Shanked left and right.

Allowing Britons to carry arms for their own defense? That's unthinkable. Why, just outlaw knives!

Doesn’t he need to get permission to do anything from the Muzzie-Lovin’ Lord Mayor of Londonistan?
Sharia Law certainly allows big knives for the ritual beheadings?
UK has gone to the Muzzies...

Well done UK, what a wonderful, peaceful, equal society you have created with your stuppid, Marxist Liberal politicians over the past 10 years. No surprise though, all of the EU is the same, just kinda different issues!
Dear me, the PM Gordon Brown and his aides, what a shocking leader of the UK. Even worse than Tony Blair, pretending to be liberal, but all along they were Marxist models, with pure capitalist undertones!
Where have the real British people gone I ask? I don't see them at all. Letting children stab each other in the street, letting their heritage be diluted away so quickly?
I thought the proud nationalism, and inbuilt perceived arrogance of the Brits would help stop them falling into the trap that the rest of the EU fallen into, but it seems not.
Who's next for Communism?

Jacqui Smith, the Home Secretary, will set out the Governments latest initiative on Monday. It will be mandatory sterilization and abortion for all subjects. This measure will prevent all crime AND entirely mitigate the UK's impact on global climate change in one generation.

How silly! These knife attacks in Britain just prove if people are intent on killing another, they don't need a gun-—or a knife. If determined to kill they they can use tire irons, poison, a concrete block-—or even sticks and stones.

You wanna know how to get Capone? They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. *That’s* the *Chicago* way!

When do they start banning, forks? Eventually the chopping off of hands?
To: ME-262
You go girl! (Brown) It's about time. Guns, samurai swords and defending yourself by pretty much any means have been illegal for some time. What can you ban next and what good will it do?

The really annoying part is that the Tories could be scoring huge points right now with a law & order platform, but are sitting on their heels.
Democracy is pretty useless if both major political parties are both feckless and have the same platform of spinelessness.

The Chicago of today is just as bad as today’s London. The only difference is little richie daley destroyed Chicago in a quest for power. I think the socialists in formerly known as Great Britain did it because of stupidity.

You sure Iowahawk did not pen this article? Knife-control? It's no joke. Actually, they have had pretty stringent knife control for years already. If you get caught with a knife outside your home, you are going to get prosecuted unless you can show you have a legitimate need for it (like a chef on the way to a catering job) and are not carrying it for self-defense.
I don't know what more they think they can do. Maybe all knifes will now have to be rounded and blunt. Then they'll have to put controls on grinders and files and hacksaws.

Thanks for that reply, ccmay, the comments on the Brit paper’s site show that many still don’t get the problem. They were rather unctious, a ways back, about their gun control laws.
This is the logical outcome of misdiagnosing the problem.
