Are you defending the US Congress in their 'protection' of Americans? or are you purporting the US Congress is altruistic?

I'm saying that posting a picture of a 9-11 victim falling from one of the towers right next to lemmings falling over the cliff is twisted.

On the mere chance of misinterpretation, it is reposted.

Do you really think so? He's had an income of over $100,000 per year (in inflation-adjusted terms) for nearly four decades, and his net worth is a measly $1.2 million? I'd say this is evidence he is a fool who squanders his money. No wonder he squanders ours too.

His net worth is vastly under reported, a typical Congressional trick. The value of his Congressional pension and associated retirement benefits is millions of dollars. These rent subsidized units are another benefit not showing on his income or net worth. The IRS should investigate this scam. He should owe thousands in taxes on this gratuity. Please do not indicate that he is a poor Congress critter. He has milked the system to its fullest and put on a fascade as a poor working stiff.

Speaking of our crooked public "servants" in Washington, how is the investigation and prosecution into the sweetheart mortgage deals set up by the Countrywide CEO for Committee Chairmen Dodd and Conrad proceeding? Oh,... it's not?

Anybody who thinks this little caper of Charlie Rangel is going anywhere, raise your hand?

I didn't think so.
