They apparently don't realize that donors by employer isn't a good way to judge support, however, this also should be a slap to wake up McCain.

Are there dates for the survey? Obama’s donations have been going down every month since February, while McCain’s have been going up.

The key number in all that garbage was that McCain has 49% and Obama 32% support...and I bet in the end, a similar proportion of the undecided will go the same way.
It will be the votes that count come election day.

However, analysis of the electoral commission has shown that Obama received over 327,000 dollars of donations from those who declared themselves as army officers, while they gave McCain only 224,000 dollars. McCain still has supporters in the army... "Who declared themselves" "officers".
What about the underclass?
And what is there to verify their claims? We've seen phony soldiers attesting to "war crimes" they witnessed when they never even SERVED in the military.

“Republican John McCain is a famous Vietnam War veteran and has been an eager supporter of war in Iraq even before the US Army invaded the country.”
Yeah...RIIIIIGHT...warmonger McCain was “EAGER” in support of war in Iraq.
You can tell the mentality, the bias of the author with just that one.

What about enlisted? The title lends that the Army as a whole gave more money, but the article only sites donations from officers (unless I read something wrong). It is still disconcerting, but the stats look cherry-picked and don't seem in line with the title.

That’s the elephant in the room. You’re right.

“What exactly influences the army`s decision while choosing its future president? On one hand, there are those who wait to come home from Iraq as soon as possible, where over 4 million of young lives were lost...”
We’ve lost over four million young lives in Iraq???????
Something tells me that this guy flunked statistics.

My son is currently home on a mid-deployment leave from Bagram. He serves as an enlisted man in the US Army Signal Corps.
He says the John McCain’s stance on the recent GI bill benefits revisions cost him dearly with the active duty troops in Bagram.
My son is a six year active enlistee, as are many with his specialized Signal Corp training. He has previously done a Korean deployment in 2006, so issues of length of service are lost on he and his buddies that will have two or three deployments of 12 to 15 months off one enlistment. His generation knows nothing about McCain the POW and only knows him as a Maverick functionary in the Senate who pisses everyone off.
He was stationed in AZ when McCain tried to tank his career a year ago with amnesty.
Our active duty people don’t have a horse in this race in the clear cut way they did in 2004.

Obama received over 327,000 dollars of donations from those who declared themselves as army officers Obama has received over a million dollars MORE than that from overseas donors around the world.
They are legal contributions, just "telling" that those living abroad as expats are more likely to give to Obama than those serving in the defense of this country.

Exactly...Just because Soros gave some Army personnel money for donations doesn’t change this, which is the most important fact of this piece.

Eastern European paper.. you should read them sometimes. You wouldn’t believe the crap the press prints around the world. Not just there. I have a friend in Switzerland who believes the Daily Show is real US news.
