Not really arguing here boats, and this is only my opinion, but using your Constitutional rights is not refusing to cooperate. It is just good sense and self-preservation. My wife's friend (A) was at her mother's house recently. A's sister was also there. The sister got (A's) kid by the neck and smacked his head into the wall (a 9 year old), so (A) punched her sister in the head. The sister calls the police. The sister works in the prosecutors office. Guess who gets the charge for battery? The cop told (A) it was only child abuse if you are beating you're own child. WTF.
It is this type of one-sided sh!+ that causes me to lose all respect for any enforcement or investigative gang.

I bet that cop would feel different if it was his kid that got smacked around.
