Too little - too late, unfortunately for that poor family.
Good grief, what took them so long. That poor family has been under suspicion ever since Jon Benet was murdered. I can’t imagine losing a child like that and then be under suspicion for all those years. The stress and sorrow of her death probably contributed a lot to Patsy’s death from cancer.
Why do you assume they were not Democrats ?
Could it be the DNA of the gentleman who packed the panties in China ?
I heard on local radio (KOA) that the dna they found belonged to no one in the house nor to any of the officers who were in the house for the investigation. It was also reported that the dna was that of an unidentified man.
I stand my original views and this new evidence changes nothing for me.

These would have to be extremely small samples; could be dandruff from the person who collected the evidence.
Exactly! You know it's going to happen. Just look at how many hearings they always have. That's ALL Henry Waxman does is conduct oversight hearings.
IMHO, they persecuted the Ramseys. Just like they did Clarence Thomas, over the Anita Hill lie.
Thank you. The DA is simply inept. The note is one of the most damning aspects of this case. It cannot be explained away.
My guess is that they just want to clear this case from there books.
It is an albatross around their necks and this new process is a way to justify closing the case.
Not just that, but they were weird, putting their little baby girl in those pageants and what-not. Therefore, they looked guilty (to a lot of people).

This area was chosen, the release said, because it was assumed that her killed took off JonBenet's clothes and then re-dressed her and would have handled the long johns.
The lab notified the DA on March 24 that DNA was found on both sides of the waist of the long johns.
That DNA matched the DNA found years ago in JonBenet's underwear
Hardly likely that the same man touched her longjohns and her panties in China.
The scene was contaminated beyond all ability to make sense of the evidence. The cop let the family roam at will throughout the house. The father brought JB up from the basement ... the mother threw herself on the body only to transfer all the fuzz from her sweater.
The Boulder police have much to be ashamed for.
Unless the Ramseys hired a cross-dressing “maid” or “laundress” which seems unlikely, or unless the people who purchased the house were there to tuck her in bed that night OR unless she wore her PJs to the Christmas gathering the family attended that evening — I'd say the Male DNA in three spots on her PJs which clears all immediate family members (including Patsy [if you're thinking she was a transvestite]) clearly means this family was destroyed for sport on a whim. Go ahead, flame away. We've been there, done that and it SUCKS.

Someone in John Ramsey’s office must have been connected to have requested the EXACT amount of John Ramsey’s Christmas bonus in the ransom note or someone Ramsey told how much the Christmas bonus was ...and if memory serves, he had just received the bonus that day or the day before or very recently???
They look guilty because of the ransom note.
There were multiple copies of the note written on the pad from the home with a pen from the home. The killer[s] sat there and wrote and re-wrote the note ...
There were allusions to movies Patsy liked, John’s bonus, and Patsy’s religion. The note was bizarre.
Perhaps Patsy wrote that note because she thought her husband or son did the crime and wanted to protect them.
It surely seemed obvious she wrote it.
As we saw with the Elizabeth Smart Case, strange people with very limited tenuous ties to the family, or none at all, are able to creep into homes and do terrible things- yet never become suspects unless there is a lucky break.
I do hope the mystery is solved someday, for the sake of that beautiful child.
