Several years ago I worked for a company that sold halogen light. The ones that had the transformer attached were called Masters and the ones that plugged into them were called slaves.
A year later the company recalled all of them from our shelves and repackaged them.
You guessed it, Independent and dependent.

I work for a government agency and we were required
to send a lot of paperwork to our National Headquarters
in Washington D.C. for their review....
Except we would never hear from it again.
I started to refer to their office as “the black hole.”
But it turns out almost all the employees in that
office were black females.

Price has been an idiot and race baiter for decades.
Commissioner Kenneth Mayfield, who is white, said it seemed that central collections "has become a black hole" Commissioner John Wiley Price, who is black, interrupted him with a loud "Excuse me!" ... That prompted Judge Thomas Jones, who is black, to demand an apology from Mayfield for his racially insensitive analogy.Mayfield shot back that it was a figure of speech and a science term.
That's it, the human race is DOOMED! The STOO-PID™ people have taken over. Even the Judges are imbeciles. With jackasses like these, the fields of Astronomy and Astrophysics is fini, kaput. We might as well pull Stephen Hawking's plug.

But dang it I wanna play the offended game too. So the next time I hear White Dwarf used on the Science Channel I'm calling my lawyer! Not that I'm not a dwarf but I am white so I figure I'll stick up for my white brothers who are 'vertically challenged'. And then we'll go after the String Theory and ban that. That is surely offensive to skinny people.
