Amendment I Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech of people we like, or of the our allies in the press; or the right of the people we like peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Interesting lawsuit. Totally groundless, but an interesting concept.
Oh, Obama’s comments offended me. Maybe I can sue him.
Seems like a 1st amendment case. But wait, Christians don’t get no steenking 1st amendment.
S/he’d have a much better chance filing that suit in Canada.
There was one case in Canada in 2001, and one in America (Idaho, I think in 2004) where biblical verses were accepted by the courts as "hate literature" when placed in certain contexts. Hey, according to Supreme Court logic, those prior decisions constitute strong arguments in favor of criminalizing the bible.
Is there still a First Amendment?
He does make me chuckle. I have 2 Zondervan Bibles at home and one on the truck, I may just go buy another for the office.
Neal Boortz wrote a while back that losers leave the office at 5 and winners stay and get the work done. I left at 5 every day last week so I feel slighted anyone know a good lawyer?
Yesterday, a U.S. District Judge refused to appoint an attorney to represent Fowler in the Thomas Nelson case, saying the court "has some very genuine concerns about the nature and efficacy of these claims andCase dismissed!
“It’s version”?????Is this guy really dumb enough to think each publisher produces a Bible that says what the publisher wants it to say?
Zondervan needs to file a counter-suit claiming discrimination! Homo-ism is cast as a sin in the Quran also! This idiot is only suing the Bible!
..........in further news, Fowler is said to be contemplating legal action against a local supplier of door hardware. He claims to have been walking past the store recently, and upon looking through the window, noticed an employee polishing a knob. He claims the sight made him “uncomfortable”.
What audacity: the suit seeks to make the Bible illegal.

He will have eternity to wish he had heeded the bible.
He might as well sue Mohammed, too.
It can only cause distress if he believes the source.
And if he believes the source, then he is a sinner with no grounds.
I am going to sue too, there are a bunch of other guy’s wives I covet.
An attorney who represents himself as a fool for a client. I hope the defendant's attorney plays hardball and sanctions him.
$60 million for Emotional Distress due to other people's reactions based on this translation of the Bible? That doesn't make any sense from a logical or legal standpoint. I don't think this makes it to trial. I wouldn't take this case, and I have a rather libertarian standpoint when it comes to gay related issues.
