Of course, that is not racist, but let some station try this with a white audience.

TV One does have a Republican pundit as part of its convention coverage, comedian Sheryl Underwood. But shes also voting for Obama. Then frankly, she is not a Republican.

right, and radio needs the fairness doctrine...

I think the Fairness Doctrine should apply. Black should be exposed to what the Republicans have to say.
To: rightwingintelligentsia
Don’t they get government funds? I’m almost sure they do.
To: fieldmarshaldj
Don’t forget the outdoor channel and the NASCAR channel.

Not true. With blacks, race trumps political beliefs.
To: rightwingintelligentsia
This is taking playing the race a bit far, isn’t it? Can you imagine the loud indignation of the Left if this was reversed?

Dont forget the outdoor channel and the NASCAR channelLOLOL!!

I actually thought the station does a good job of explaining why they are doing it.
It would be cool for the Military Channel to cover only the Republican convention.

"My audience is 93% black," Rodgers added. "I serve my audience."
What happened to Dr. King's dream of not color of skin mattering but content of heart?
To: rightwingintelligentsia
I have an idea: CMT(with a mostly white audience) should televise the RNC convention only, and say that their audience doesn’t have an interest in Obama..... oh the crap storm that would create!!
To: rightwingintelligentsia
( “African Americans have fallen in love with his candidacy, his family
we will be covering the democratic convention all the time.” )
Because he is black? Isn’t that racist?
If his agenda is against America, which I beleive it is, then I could not be for him if he was black, white or polka dot.
There could be hundreds of black men or women that I would willing cast a vote for. Not because of their color but because of their ability to do the specific job.
Obama is not now nor will he ever be one of them...........
