I’m glad to hear that I’m not the only person that goes nuts when he hears “flex your power.” Every time I hear that I’m reminded of failed regulation that prevents utilities from building capacity to meet our most basic needs. I respond by lowering my AC temp and running my electric drier. I figure if we tax the system, maybe they’ll build more capacity.
It’s kinda hard to blame it on the GOP, I think, because the GOP doesn’t control anything. Even the governor’s mansion is not really controlled by the GOP.
Kalifornia is a parasite. In order to create their faux “Ecotopia” they leach power off of neighboring states, pushing any pollution or environmental problems off on them while patting themselves on their backs about how noble they are. Feh. A major blackout would serve them right.

Very true == I have been living here and wathcing it most of my life. It now extends to WATER. The green-pandering government keeps refusing to build MORE water storage for the increasing need THEY keep allowing to happen.
TYPICAL LIBERALS == they exist without any concern for the consequences of their actions. Only money and power matters to them.
Exactly
I don’t pay any attention to their “flex your power” nonsense.
I use whatever I want.
We work hard and pay billions in taxes on every little thing we do in our lives and they can’t do one simple thing while they give away billions to those who don’t work at all.
They should start doing their job’s.
I’d be willing to bet they keep their offices as cool as they want. There won’t be any gov controlled thermostats there.
