Probably just Minnesotans trying to get a couple
extra Walleyes across the border.

I guess he will be going to prison.

Shame the agent was not able to drill clean holes in all three of their heads with his pistol fire.

I guess I forgot my sarc tag.
As far as better pot, well, I will have to take your word for it.
Usually less dangerous than Mexico? I dunno, looks like it is pretty dangerous now. And if from the South, the Mexican Army will escort you, providing cover if you are discovered. . . .that is if you are smuggling your smokes, not that I am saying you are, mind you.

Mexican army might try to renegotiate the deal. Peso falls with the dollar. Just speculating that smuggling was probably the reason to cross the border. Anybody not carrying contraband could just get in line and waltz across.

Which of course, leads one to believe they don’t WANT anyone to know what their nationality was-—

Actually, the border control is much stricter on the northern border than in the southwest. I took a little trip the Soo locks (Sault Ste Marie) with my brother in the fall of ‘06. He told me that we could go to Canada just by showing valid drivers licenses but after Jan. ‘07, I'd need a passport; not to get into Canada but to get back into the US.
