Fine. Who else is going to use them? We have more and we have an (admittedly imperfect) defense. Throw some money into beefing up our defenses, refit our existing weapons with MIRV’s again, and then let’s cross the Rubicon.

There will be a cost to bear when Iran declares that they have pre-positioned nuclear weapons in New York City, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, Detroit, Baltimore, Miami, Atlanta, Washington DC, etc and are ready to detonate unless we abandon Israel, Iraq and Afghanistan and quit the Middle East. Which would you prefer?
