Thanks Jim and weclome everybody to this quarter's edtion of the FR Freepathon.

I don't think I have to explain what is clearly at stake in this year's election. I think everybody knows what's going on. I will tell you that there are some elements of the left that want to try and turn this nation into another Zimbabwe.

Over the past several weeks we have been dealing with news organizations who are obviously h*ll bent on covering up their unethical and immoral activities. I'm sure everybody is aware of the ongoing AP fiasco.

We are in a constant battle for the right as christians and conservatives to be able to continue to address issues of public of importance without fear of reprecussion. That's why places like FR are so vitally important to us.

I recognize that the ever increasing high gas prices are making things very problematic for so of you. But, if you could think about what's at stake here. Give what you can. Any donation no matter how large or small will help keep FR going.

And, if for some reason you can't donate than stop by bump these threads so those that are able to make a donation will know what is going on.

There's way too much at stake for us to lose FR. All you have to do is look at what is going on in the political world today to see what's at stake.

Jim, I'm so delighted that you're recovering and back in the CINCFREEP chair! Due to the scurrilous attacks on FR by the WaPo recently, and seeing it as the kind of anti-freedom-of-speech we can expect with more frequency in the future, I'm doubling my customary quarterly donation.
