Further, while this whole process of excluding BWN Vietnam Veterans from receiving veterans benefits began under Togo West under the second Clinton Administration, it was implemented by the VA under the current Bush Administration.

For other Vietnam Veterans related reasons, I cannot vote for McCain; but I d*mn sure cannot support stripping him of his Vietnam War Veteran status.

Now you know how we got the name "The Stupid Party."

Sigh.

This type of crap is precisely why I have never, ever mentioned Vietnam when asked if I was ever in the military and why I have never attempted to join any American Foreign Legion, or any other such organization.

All I say is yea, I served from '69 to '72. Didn't go to 'Nam so don't have any right to mention the word.
