The first part was a joke..a TONGUE IN CHEEK...statement if you will..Nothing more. The second part was affirming that I did in fact know that.

OK, then. As you know, the written word is not a “rich” form of communication, so sometimes the intent is not at all apparent.

I’d just come off of a couple of other threads — and have seen a history of instances — where FReepers tend to make condescending arguments to other posters, citing their time as a FReeper as being some sort of indication of their level of knowledge/intelligence/superiority over the poster they’re arguing with. This had the distinct appearance of another one of those posts.

I think that if you had explained what you just said in your last post in your first reply to me, then none of this exchange would have happened. I was simply trying to be informative, and I thought I posted politely, and I think that we are actually essentially on the same page in our opinions on the subject of this thread (I like Dogpile also, btw). So I was taken aback at what I considered to be a rather snotty (and snooty) reply on your part. If it was not intended that way and was instead simply tongue-in-cheek, then that’s fine. Again, it is sometimes difficult to discern the true inflection of the written word.
