This caller is spot-on about where our rights come from.

Once I called Monica Crowley’s radio show when one of her guests misspoke about “the Constitution gives us our rights.” I really went off about it (about the guest, not her) but in any case she was extremely nice.

When people mis-speak on this subject it makes my blood boil.

My first inclination was just to “make some celebratory noise”, but then I decided, “why waste five good rounds; might as well get in some practice...” ‘-)

This Justice Scalia is someone we can truly be proud of. We just need about 5 more like him on the Supreme Court before I’ll be happy.

Today is a good day for our nation.

"IMO, the grabbers will shift their aim to ammo."

Yep. I intend to keep on "cranking" the reloading press -- as long as my rotator cuff lasts...

More good news...

CNSNews.com) - Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling that the Second Amendment provides individuals the right to bear arms was a "landmark victory" and that his Democratic rival is on the wrong side of the debate.

"Unlike Senator Obama, who refused to join me in signing a bipartisan amicus brief, I was pleased to express my support and call for the ruling issued today," McCain said in a statement issued by his campaign following Thursday's 5-4 ruling.

This caller is spot-on about where our rights come from.

Yes, they are GOD-GIVEN.

People fail to understand how important that is as a legal concept, let alone a spiritual one.

I have neither the expertise nor the equipment. However, I’m old and prolly won’t be around that much longer. My stockpile is growing thought.

Today’s Supreme Court decision is very important and I believe that it may lead to the other city gun bans in San Francisco and Chicago, and wherever else to be ruled unconstitutional.

The Right To Bear Arms is not just a matter of protecting ourselves from the criminal element, but it is also a matter of protecting us from agression by the government, making it possible for us to fight back in case the government powers try to lead us off to the gulags, as has been done in the past to other peoples whose country had become a tyranny.

Yup. It’s really one of my biggest pet peeves. People are too quick to say the Constitution gives us our rights, instead of ensuring our God-given rights.

Now I feel better!!

SECOND AMMENDMENT: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

IOW... Against an oppressive government.

THIRD AMMENDMENT: No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.

IOW... The Government can’t force a citizen to house the military.

GREAT QUOTE!

“Unlike the elitist view that believes Americans cling to guns out of bitterness, today’s ruling recognizes that gun ownership is a fundamental right — sacred, just as the right to free speech and assembly,” said McCain.

SPARTAN women give birth to REAL men.

AMERICAN FEMINISTS give birth to girly men.

ESTROGEN LACED TOFU is also a culprit.
